چکیده
Objective: Curcumin (CUR) was modified with hyaluronic acid (HA) to increase its water solubility and bioavailability. Our aim the uptake of CUR into cells that express CD44 receptors compare cellular effects in two different human breast carcinoma cells, MCF-7 MDA-MB-231.
Methods: Hyaluronic acid-curcumin complex (HA-CUR) synthesized characterized. MDA-MB-231 were grown under appropriate conditions effect HA-CUR on cell viability determined. Apoptosis levels after treatment also measured. receptor both compared then apoptosis measured saturation CD 44 HA. In expression caspase-9 PARP analyzed confirm apoptosis. Results: percentage level group slightly lower than group. no statistically significant difference found control group, but higher cells. Blocking reversed apoptotic Both had Conclusion: Conjugation HA, which is specific for aids, entry target making it a powerful agent targeted cancer therapy.

Hyaluronic acid-conjugated polyamidoamine dendrimers for targeted delivery of 3,4-difluorobenzylidene curcumin to CD44 overexpressing pancreatic cancer cells.
The current study was aimed to develop a targeted dendrimer formulation of 3, 4-difluorobenzylidene curcumin (CDF) and evaluate its potential in CD44 targeted therapy for pancreatic cancer. Using amine terminated fourth generation poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) dendrimer nanocarrier and hyaluronic acid (HA) as a targeting ligand, we engineered a CD44-targeted PAMAM dendrimer (HA-PAMAM) formulation of...

CD44 Mediated Nonviral Gene Delivery into Human Embryonic Stem Cells via Hyaluronic-Acid-Coated Nanoparticles
Gene delivery is an important tool to study and manipulate human pluripotent stem cells for regenerative medicine purposes. Yet current methods of transient gene delivery to stem cells are still inefficient. Through the combination of biologically based concepts and material design, we aim to develop new methods to enhance the efficiency of gene delivery to stem cells. Specifically, we use poly...
متن کاملEfficient CD44-targeted magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of breast cancer cells using hyaluronic acid (HA)-modified MnFe2O4 nanocrystals
Targeted molecular imaging with hyaluronic acid (HA) has been highlighted in the diagnosis and treatment of CD44-overexpressing cancer. CD44, a receptor for HA, is closely related to the growth of cancer including proliferation, metastasis, invasion, and angiogenesis. For the efficient detection of CD44, we fabricated a few kinds of HA-modified MnFe2O4 nanocrystals (MNCs) to serve as specific m...
متن کاملActivation of the CRABPII/RAR pathway by curcumin induces retinoic acid mediated apoptosis in retinoic acid resistant breast cancer cells
Due to the anti-proliferative and anti-apoptotic effects of retinoic acid (RA), this hormone has emerged as a target for several diseases, including cancer. However, development of retinoid resistance is a critical issue and efforts to understand the retinoid signaling pathway may identify useful biomarkers for future clinical trials. Apoptotic responses of RA are exhibited through the cellular...
